“Some children live in a very poor country and they don’t have taps in their houses so they have to go down to the lake and get heaps of buckets of water for their family to drink and for cooking and washing the dishes. This means they can’t have fun because they’re too busy doing jobs.” Josh, 6S
“I found out how hard it is to do all of the chores that people in Africa do, like washing the dishes in a bucket and carrying water and you have to do this before and after school every day.” Bree, 3P
“It’s sad because they’re so poor and they don’t have the freedom we have. Only some of the children can go to school and that means they might not get a job and then they won’t have any money to support their family.” Tyson, 6S
